Mission Statement
The Southern Arizona Softball Officials Association is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to serving and providing our officials with quality programs and training tools related to the rules, mechanics, and procedures of officiating softball. It is our goal to prepare quality officials to
be able to apply the rules and mechanics properly in a fun, healthy and safe environment for officials, players, coaches, and parents.
We, as an organization, want to create alliances that will demonstrate to the highest principles in good sportsmanship, respect, and fairness in how we handle situations both on and off the field of play.
In addition, SAZSUA seeks to establish guidelines for ethical standards of conduct for all officials, upholding the honor and dignity of the profession while preparing both physically and mentally in a manner consistent with the high standards of the profession.
